• Aluxcor® zinc-aluminum alloys contain a cesium-fluoroaluminate (CsAlF) type flux in an internal core.
• The core percentage and dimensions are calculated to deliver optimum flux release and braze joint protection during heating.
• Post braze residue from this flux is non-corrosive, so removal is typically unnecessary.
• Flux inner core means no manual flux application is required, providing significant cost savings
• Melting range of 710 deg F - 898 deg F (377 deg C - 481 deg C).
• Recommended joint clearance is 0.003 to 0.005 in. (0.076 to 0.127 mm)
• Typical applications include brazing aluminum alloys of the 1000, 3000 and 6000 series and joining aluminum-to-copper.
