Harris® SS15

For many years the standard of the industry, the 15% silver alloy has proven its value. This filler metal is excellent for situations in which close fit-up does not exist, and where thermal expansion and service vibration are involved.

• Stay silv 15 brazing filler metal is a frequent choice for brazing copper, especially in brazing air conditioning and refrigeration connections
• 17.4 electrical resistivity
• 9.9 electrical conductivity
• 1190 deg F solidus melting temperature
• 1480 deg F liquids melting temperature
• The higher the fluidity rating, the faster the alloy flows within the melting range
• Stay silv 15 also meets federal specification QQ-B-654A, grade III
• 3 fluidity rating
• 0.002 in or 0.006 in recommended joint clearance
• 0.05 in thickness
