How do I get a Hercules Online Account?
To apply for a Hercules Online Account, please
go to this
link or click on the “setup your online account” image
from the Hercules Industries home page. Fill out the fields
and submit your request, you will be notified promptly
if your account request has been authorized.
NOTE: A credit or cash account with Hercules Industries
MUST exist in order to receive authorization for an Online
Account. For more information, please call us at 800-356-5350
or use the contact page to send an e-mail.
How do I log in to my account?
Once you have an online account, go to the
Hercules home
page and
look for the Red Box that says “ONLINE Account Login”.
Now enter your e-mail address which you used for account
registration in the field provided. Next, enter your password
and press the “submit” button. The page will
refresh and your login e-mail address will appear under
the phrase “Welcome to Hercules Industries”,
as well as on the gray bar in the top right corner. You
are now logged in
When logging
in, what does the “Remember me” box
do?
If this box is checked before logging in, it will make
it so the computer you are using will leave you logged
in when you access the Hercules website in the future.
We strongly recommend not using this option on public computers,
or computers with multiple users, due to the fact it can
be used to view many confidential customer only areas of
the website.
How do I log off my account?
To log off of your Hercules website account, click the “HOME” button
at the top of the page. Now you will see a small line of
text below your account welcome information. The line says, “If
you want to log off, click here!” After clicking
it, you will be logged out.
How do I search the website for certain products?
First click the “SEARCH” button at the top
of the page. If you know the general category of the product
you are looking for, select it from the list. Once you
have done this, enter the keywords for the item you want
to find, for example: air ease tech 80. Please do not use
words such as: ‘of’, ‘the’, ‘and’, ‘or’.
- If you want the keywords you used to be searched as
one phrase, make sure the “find all words (and)” button
is selected. By doing this, the website will search for
ALL words you wrote in the search box.
- If you want search results on any one of the keywords
you wrote in the search box, select the “find any
word (or)” button. This will search each word individually,
rather than all together as one phrase.
- The most accurate way to search the product database
is to use the Product ID number, for example: AE12. To
use this option of the search engine, click the “search
by product number” button. After the page refreshes,
make sure the product ID has been entered in the search
box. If you want to search for a product without specifying
an exact number, try using the classifying letters. For
example use AE instead of AE12; this will bring up all
Aluminum Adjustable Elbows, rather than just the 12” elbow.
How can
I see a product’s inventory, image, and
specifications?
When browsing the product catalog, each set of products
is stored in different categories. Once you have narrowed
down the category to a specific sub-category, a list of
product items numbers will be displayed. Next to the item
number you will see text that says “more info”.
Click on this text, and the specific details about that
product will appear. This includes current inventory, a
product image, and product specifications. To view the
specs you will need to have Adobe
Acrobat Reader installed.
If you have this installed then you can click on the image
that says, “view specs >> click here <<” this
will then open up the Acrobat PDF file in a new window
allowing you to see the product specs. When finished, close
the window and you will be back at the product info page.
Keep in mind that not all products have specifications
available for viewing.
How can I find a store location or store contact information?

How do I
view a product’s price?
To view a product’s price, you must have a Hercules
Online Account. To setup your account, please see: “How
do I get an online account?”
When browsing the product catalog, each set of products
is stored in different categories. Once you have narrowed
down the category to a certain point a list of product
items numbers will be displayed. If you are logged in,
you will be able to see the product’s price under
the “Price” column. You can also see a product’s
price, as well as other information if you click on the “more
info” link next to the Product ID number.
Another option is to create a pricebook by clicking on
the “My pricebook” graphic. After it loads,
you can choose from one of the major product categories
by clicking on the + directly to the left of the category
name. It will automatically expand to show ALL sub-categories,
which you can select from by clicking on the small box
to the left of each line. After choosing one or more, scroll
to the bottom of the page and click on the “Create
price book” box.
How can I purchase items online?
To buy products online, you first must have a Hercules
Online Account. To setup your account, please see: “How
do I get an online account?”
When browsing the product catalog, each set of products
is stored in different categories. Once you have narrowed
down the category to a certain point, a list of product
items numbers will be displayed. If you are logged in,
you will be able to see a “Buy” button to the
right of the Product’s price. Click this button and
you will be presented with a shopping cart. Your shopping
cart stores all the items you have selected to purchase
with an initial quantity of 1. If you want to order more
than 1, click on the quantity box, and manually increase
the number. Be sure and look at the “unit of measure” for
each item, especially FLEX, STEEL, PIPE and SPIRAL. For
example, all of the Hart & Cooley flex is sold by the
FOOT, with 25 feet per box.
To purchase the item or items in your cart, click the “check
out” button. Fill out the required information and
click the “Submit Order” button at the bottom
of the page. You will receive an email detailing the status
of your order. If you would like to add more products to
your order, click the “Back to Cart” button
instead of submitting.
Where can
I find “Buy” buttons?
If you are logged in, a “Buy” button will
appear on each line of a specific product I.D. number.
You can access these by either browsing through the catalog,
creating a pricebook, or using the Search feature. The “Buy” button
will always appear to the extreme right hand side of each
line item.
